Extra Special Holiday Delivery

Well . . . it seems that Bayden is the only one of my parents' grand children who can follow directions (as Rick pointed out, it's very odd that it's Heather's kid) . "Cook for 9 months" does not seem to have any meaning to them. As you can probably guess, I am an aunt again. Only being "cooked" for 7 1/2 months, Ethan Christopher Elliott was born Sunday , December 7th. He weighed in at 3 pounds, 9 ounces and is 16 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great. He came out screaming and has a head full of dark hair like his momma did! When I got to visit him, he was trying to pull the wires and tubes off of him. His daddy told him he was already in enough trouble :0)

Yesterday the large tube on his nose was removed - all he has is a small thing giving him oxygen. Melissa and Chris were also going to get to hold him yesterday. Today they were going to get to feed him.
The website is having difficulties but as soon as they are ironed out, I will post some more pictures of him.

First day of my new career . . .

Well, today was the day. I officially started at school. I hardly slept a wink last night because I was so excited. Renee and I went one day last week to start setting up my classroom but there is still a lot to do. I will post some pictures of my classroom either on here or on the family website once it is all set and ready for my second graders. I can't wait until next week!!

Here is another picture of Melissa from last weekend. She hasn't grown too much since the last picture. She looks so cute though! I probably won't see her again until next month but I will post another picture then.

Another Baby on the Way . . . Not Mine!

Surprise! My sister, Melissa is having a baby! It was a little bit of a shock at first but we are all very excited about it! Dylan is thrilled because he/she is due on his birthday. Although she is only 10 weeks along, she is already showing a little tummy - too cute! Below are the ultrasound pictures she had done today - showing there is only one baby!!

Bayden is the happiest baby. And he's so darn cute. I just love the little guy! I can't get enough of him. Being an aunt is great! I can't wait to be one again!

Ryan Graduates from Pre-K

It is very hard to believe that my baby is going into kindergarten in a few short weeks! He's growing up so fast! The graduation ceremony was absolutely adorable. They sang a bunch of songs - with Ryan being the loudest! He knew all the words to them all. His teachers told us that he was always leading the class when they practiced.

My Little American Idol

My boys love to sing but I never expected this . . . All the kids were requesting songs at the wedding, my two included. Ryan went to the DJ and requested 'Shot Through the Heart'. The DJ told him that if he could find out the correct name to the song he would play and give Ryan the microphone (apparently Ryan also told him he knew all the words to it). Ryan found out the correct name and took the stage. He sang every word with his little foot tapping through the whole thing. Dylan was nice enough to back him up with a little air guitar action. I wish I had video of their performance because it was hilarious - we were all in tears watching/listening.
